Today’s
blog topic when Disney movies started going down the drain. I’m sure we all
remember the good old movies that actually taught life values like Lion King,101 Dalmatians, Aladdin, Snow
White, Pinocchio, Bambi, Dumbo, The Jungle Book; the list goes on. I have
seen some of the latest movies and they just don’t compare to the classics of
my youth. Most would agree, and I believe that is why Disney plans to make a new
renditions or 3d versions of each movie.
Not
to mention how they tend to kill off certain characters by falling to their death. How many times has Disney pulled that
off? Mufasa, and then scar in Lion King,
followed by Zira in Lion king 2, Gaston
in Beauty and the Beast, and the
queen in Snow White and the Seven
Dwarves. Other deaths include Frollo
from The Hunchback of Notre Dame, who
burns in a sea of fire (fitting as he is a priest). Speaking of which why
does the hero fight the villain only to attempt to save them in the end? Overall
we see that if you are in a Disney movie you either get killed horribly or live
happily ever after.
